Thai massage is relaxing and
uplifting. It stimulates the
release of blocked energy and
frees the body's own natural
healing potential, thus restoring
balance, health and harmony.

The roots of Thai massage go
back over 2000 years and due
to the geographical location of
Thailand, Indian Ayurvedic and
Chinese medical systems have influenced its' development.

The nature of Thai massage involves yoga stretches and the stimulation of energy meridians along all the muscles through which they pass, from every conceivable angle, using pressure applied by the practitioners thumbs, palms, elbows and soles of the feet.

Deep sustained pressure makes the muscular connective tissue soften and relax so that energy can flow through it easily, in preparation for the large- scale stretches that follow. This type of massage will provide you with an advanced yoga workout that requires no self-discipline, practice or effort on your part.

The pace of the massage is slow and rhythmical. One technique blends into the next without any suggestion of haste and it is a fully clothed treatment.

Thai massage can also effectively treat sports injuries that affect the joints and muscles especially during rehabilitation. A full session usually takes 1 hr.

For your Health Day, our practitioners can provide 12 x 30 minute sessions.
